Ionia

Terms of sale and withdrawal policy

1. Seller

The seller is Bastian Entrup, Mühlenstieg 19, 37181 Hardegsen, Germany, email: info@entropy-zero.de (see legal notice).

2. Offer

On this website I sell the e-book “Ionia – Archaeological Travel Guide” in English, German and French, each as DRM-free EPUB and PDF files. The printed paperback is not sold here but through Amazon, where Amazon’s terms apply.

3. Conclusion of contract

Clicking “Buy now” takes you to Stripe’s payment page, where you can review and correct your details. By clicking the payment button you make a binding offer; the contract is concluded upon successful payment. The language of the contract is the language of the chosen edition. The contract text is not stored; you will receive a confirmation with the download link by email.

4. Prices and payment

The price is €1.79 for the English edition; prices of the other editions are shown on their pages; no VAT is charged under § 19 of the German VAT Act. Payment is made via Stripe using the payment methods offered there.

5. Delivery and use

After payment you can download the e-book immediately; the link is also sent to you by email. It stays valid permanently, and you can use it to download later, revised versions free of charge. To prevent misuse, at most 10 downloads are possible within 30 days. You receive a simple, perpetual right to use the e-book for private purposes. Passing it on, making it publicly available or reselling it is not permitted. Third-party images in the book are subject to the licences stated there.

6. Withdrawal policy

Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day of the conclusion of the contract.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform me (Bastian Entrup, Mühlenstieg 19, 37181 Hardegsen, Germany, phone +49 1775 212746, email info@entropy-zero.de) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or an email). You may use the withdrawal function on this website or the model withdrawal form below, but it is not obligatory. To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, I shall reimburse to you all payments received from you without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which I am informed about your decision to withdraw. I will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.

Loss of the right of withdrawal

For a contract for the supply of digital content not on a tangible medium, the right of withdrawal expires once I have begun performance after you have expressly consented to performance beginning before the end of the withdrawal period, acknowledged that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal, and I have provided you with a confirmation of the contract. Performance begins when the download link is provided after payment.
